Please join me on Monday, Jan. 28, at Giovanni's Room in Philadelphia. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. I will be reading from THE BEST BAD THINGS and in conversation with writer Rose Skelton. This event is hosted by Blue Stoop, a "hub for literary Philadelphia ... [and] the voices of writers of color, queer and trans writers, and working class writers." Thank you to Blue Stoop and Rose for making this event possible!

Please join Lyndsay Faye and I at Astoria Bookshop on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7:00, for readings from and a conversation about our novels, THE BEST BAD THINGS and THE PARAGON HOTEL. Hope to see you there!

A very special reading from THE BEST BAD THINGS: Join me in Port Townsend at The Cotton Building, on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 1:00. This reading, hosted by the Jefferson County Historical Society, takes place on the same day that the novel begins, 132 years later. The Cotton Building is also at the foot of Madison Street, where the novel opens. Thank you to JCHS for presenting this event!
